Paola Gadala-Maria is a NY based, Miami bred filmmaker, of Hispanic and Middle-Eastern descent. Her projects range from producing feature documentaries covering the U.S. penitentiary system to directing marketing videos for educational companies such as Scholastic. Paola’s work has been seen on major platforms such as Netflix, BET, and Discovery+. Most recently, she produced a documentary series that premieres on Apple TV+ in March. She is currently developing an independent documentary in New York City that explores identities stolen by an unjust system.
